The Sun Lakes Anglers Club presented a photo collage in thanks to the Sun Lakes Fire Department for their involvement and participation in their annual field trip. This catch and release program invites children from various service groups in neighboring school districts to enjoy a day of fishing and friendship.
Four Sun Lakes firefighters celebrate milestones

Recently, four Sun Lakes firefighters have achieved personal milestones in their fire service careers thus far.
Celebrating their 10th anniversary serving the residents of Sun Lakes were Captain Martin Lain, Captain Cory Evans and firefighter Ray Franco and celebrating his 20th year is firefighter Craig Daniels.
Evans has served on various public education projects, attended training and leadership conferences and been involved with community service projects. He is a firefighter with the Wildfire Team and coordinated the fire-rescue bridge through the Image Trend Company.
Capt. Evans has also trained new firefighters and emergency medical services personnel one of the things he shares in common with Captain Martin Lain who is also celebrating his 10th anniversary with the department. Lain, also has certified as a Wildfire team member, attended training leadership conferences and been involved with public education in the community.
Capt. Lain has also served on the apparatus committee and is a Captain Paramedic for the district.
Another 10 year anniversary is firefighter Ray Franco. In his years of service to the Sun Lakes community he has served as an acting Engineer and an acting Captain. Franco has also trained new firefighters and EMS personnel and participated in various community service and public education projects.
Celebrating his 20th year with Sun Lakes is firefighter Craig Daniels. Daniels has served in both public education and community service and attended training and leadership conferences.
