The Library Corner at SLCC: Merry Christmas to All

Bette Hargrave

Merry Christmas to all!

Starting in November, we have featured Christmas-themed novels that the library has accumulated in the past several years. They are found on the end caps of the regular bookcases and above the hardcover Mystery and regular Fiction. I hope you will enjoy!

The library volunteers will be honored with a Coffee and Cookies meeting on Dec. 2 at 10 a.m. Introduction of new members and sharing of information, along with a surprise, will enliven our hearts.

A short list of purchases and donations of The New York Times Best Seller list to our check-out category is: The Judge’s List, by John Grisham; Billy Summers, by Steven King; The Wish, by Nicholas Sparks; Better Off Dead, by Lee Child; The Lincoln Highway, by Amor Towles; Cloud Cuckoo Land, by Anthony Doerr; Apples Never Fall, by Liane Moriarty; The Last Thing He Told Me, by Laura Dave; and last but not least, The Midnight Library, by Matt Haig.

All of your library volunteers wish you happy reading and a wonderful Holiday Season!
