If you now live in Sun Lakes and want to join a group with fellow Long Islanders, then this group is for you. To be considered for membership, you would need to have lived on the island for a good chunk of time, meaning decades. So, if you have lived in Brooklyn or Queens Boroughs or Nassau or Suffolk Counties, then you should consider joining. If you don’t know where those places are, then you wouldn’t qualify, obviously.

We have actually found classmates at our get-togethers. Our first meeting was on March 13, 2020, and we all know what followed then. We got back on track in late 2022 and now try to have a get-together every other month. Our get-togethers have usually been a place to meet up for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, but anything is possible.
