Rod “Babe” Thompson and Tom “Pooch” Ferris are the Lucky Shot Pool Club 2014-15 season champions in 9-Ball and 8-Ball, respectively. Champions are determined by a playoff of winners of the club’s fall, winter and spring tournaments.
Thompson, fall and winter tournament winner, defeated Fred Falconetti, spring tournament winner, 7-2. Ferris, fall and spring tournament winner, defeated Loren Boulanger, winter tournament winner, 5-0.
Thompson’s and Ferris’ names will be added to a club champion’s plaque hanging in the Cottonwood Pool Room.
