Sheila Parkinson and Dianne Zimmerman fought their way to a Bronze Medal in their third Women’s 4.5 Pickleball Tournament together. On January 8, at the well-attended all-age skill Tommy Wong Memorial Tournament in Surprise, Sheila and Dianne overcame a large deficit in their first match to win 11-8 and 12-10 to set up a match against the No. 2 seed. They fought hard but ultimately were sent to the second chance bracket. They had two more come-from-behind wins to set up the re-match of the No. 2 seed in the Bronze Medal match. Although they did their best, Sheila and Dianne could not overcome the youth and skill of their opponents on this day.
