We have hit our 100-degrees mark, and many of us are planning our escapes from the heat. As we prepare to travel, whether for the entire summer or a brief getaway, whether by plane, car or train, careful attention is given to what we take along. Essential oils can be easily incorporated into your travel plans.
There are many essential oils which would be most beneficial to have readily available while traveling. Most common among them would be lavender, peppermint, On Guard, Digestzen, lemon, Melaleuca, Breathe, Deep Blue and Past Tense.
Lavender can be simply applied to the back of your neck and your temples or under your nose to calm nerves during a bumpy flight.
Rub a drop of peppermint on the back of your ears to relieve pressure while flying, or take a Peppermint Beadlet when experiencing motion sickness, either on a plane or in the car.
Take along lemon to freshen your drinking water. It cleanses your body and gives you a lift.
I always make sure I have my Deep Blue Rub which helps me to deal with muscle discomfort from uncomfortable airline seats or joint and muscle pain from excessive activity.
My purse always contains my On Guard Hand Sanitizer which I use immediately upon finding my airline seat. I wipe down tray tables and arm rests as soon as I am seated.
These are just a few suggestions for using Essential Oils for travel. If you are interested in learning more about Essential Oils and Travel, join me this month for one of my classes. You will learn how to put together a travel pack with essential oils and essential oil products to serve your particular needs. We will also make a blend for your travel needs that you take home with you.
Classes this month are scheduled for Saturday, July 6, at l1:00 a.m.; Saturday, July 13, at l1:00 a.m. and Saturday, July 20, at l1:00 a.m. For those of you who have a few friends who may be interested in learning more about essential oils, you can host a workshop. This month, anyone who hosts a workshop will receive a special hostess gift of a diffuser. All you do is invite, and I do the rest.
