Please circle Nov. 26 on your calendar. It’s Turkey Tuesday! This is the largest one-day turkey drive in Arizona and is dedicated to collecting frozen turkeys and monetary donations to help needy families and individuals throughout our community. This annual event at Sun Lakes involves a special partnership between Bashas’ and the Society of St. Vincent de Paul Conference at St. Steven’s Catholic Church. Working together with the generous residents of Sun Lakes, many families will be given a good Thanksgiving.

To participate in this event, all you need to do is donate a frozen turkey or turkeys (you can donate as many turkeys as you wish) during the designated hours of 7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Bashas’ Sun Lakes store. A team of St. Vincent de Paul volunteers will be on duty throughout the day to assist you with your frozen turkey and/or monetary donation. Please remember, any kind hearted donations will be greatly appreciated, and someone’s Thanksgiving will be changed for the better.
