At its January meeting, the Unit 11 Board of Directors voted to increase the monthly homeowner dues by $10 per month effective March 1, 2017. Homeowners who pay their dues monthly by ACH will see the increase on their March 2017 payment. Homeowners who pay semi-annually or annually will receive an invoice reflecting the balance due. The regular monthly March Board of Directors Meeting will be held on Wednesday, March 15, at 4:00 p.m. in the Ceramics Room of the Cottonwood Clubhouse. All homeowners are invited and encouraged to attend. If you have items for the agenda, please contact Gene Brown at 480-802-3456.

Unit 19 – Townhouses

Mark your calendar for the following activities for Unit 19:

Wednesday, March 8 – Annual HOA 19 get-together from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at 25224 S. Angora Ct. Bring an appetizer to share, drinks for yourself and a chair to enjoy the time meeting and greeting our Unit 19 community!

Monday, March 13 – Monthly HOA meeting starting at 6:00 p.m. in the Phoenix Room.

Thursday, March 16 – Monthly HOA working meeting starting at 4:00 p.m. in the Phoenix Room.

Villas Unit 37

Villas Unit #37 Spring Potluck is on Sunday, March 26, from 1:00-3:00 p.m. at Poolside. Therefore, there will be no March Social. This is a change from what was reported in the February Splash. The final Social before summer will be on Wednesday, April 12, at Stone & Barrel.

We are looking for volunteers for our Outreach Committee – a group of generous homeowners who are willing to assist Villa homeowners in small tasks such as changing light bulbs, air filters, etc. See HOA News under Villas37.org website or contact Ila Kraayenbrink at 480-802-0595.

A reminder to homeowners with small pets to be aware that coyotes and large owls have been seen in the Villas as well as around all of Sun Lakes.

HOA board meetings are at 4:00 p.m. in the Oakwood Clubhouse on the following dates: March 15, November 15 and December 13, 2017, which is followed by our holiday party.

Unit 44A

Thirty-five people gathered for coffee and delicious treats at the Unit 44A Coffee hosted by Judy Gahide on January 19, 2017. It was a great time to catch up with neighbors and meet new ones. Becky Kolb, Captain for Unit 44A, welcomes anyone not receiving current unit updates in 44A. If you would like more information, you may contact her at 480-440-0849 or [email protected]. This unit is hosting coffees every other month during the winter and spring months and will be having Unit dinners periodically.
