Unit 42 Block Party
Molly Bergensen and Diane Sloan, Unit Captains
About 80 residents from Unit 42 (Desert Trail, Desert Flower, Cedarcrest, Lambert and parts of Champagne) gathered on Friday, November 2, for a get-together. Great food was brought by all participants – super appetizers, main courses, plus abundant desserts. It was a good time for renewing friendships with those who have lived in the area for a while, plus a super opportunity to meet the new community members who have recently moved in. Weather was ideal, and it was unanimous that this should be an annual event. Thanks to all those neighbors who participated! A special thanks to Chris Vipond, Kay Glantz and Suzy Hessman who organized the November 2 Unit 42 Block Party.
