The Unit 38 ladies February luncheon will be held on Tuesday, February 9 at 11:30a.m.; the location is The Ivy, 1890 W. Germann Rd., Chandler (Dobson and Germann). We will order from the menu with separate checks with tax and gratuity inclusive. Make your reservation by Monday, February 1 to Phyllis Tevis or Rachel Enloe.
The next gathering of Unit 39 will be Friday, February 5 at 12:30 p.m. at the Olive Garden across from Chandler Fashion Place Mall, 3430 W. Chandler Blvd. If you would like to make a reservation please e-mail Donna Haugland at email@example.com by January 31. Reservations are needed by February 2.
I am the Unit Captain for Unit 44B. My job as a Unit Captain is to represent you and your concerns to the Board and staff at our monthly meetings. I will send out information prior to the Unit Captain meetings as well as minutes afterward and plan periodic social gatherings to meet neighbors in our Unit. We would love to have you join us if you aren’t already.
The Cottonwood Unit 11 Ladies’ Afternoon Coffees are held on the third Wednesday of each month in the Phoenix Room at 2:00 p.m. Come meet your neighbors and share interests!
Unit 19 townhomes
Unit 19’s annual HOA meeting will be held on Thursday, February 25 in Cottonwood’s Saguaro Room. This meeting will start at 7:00 p.m. with registration beginning at 6:30 p.m. The purpose of the meeting is to elect offices to the Board of Directors. All homeowners should have received their ballot for voting purposes and are encouraged to attend this annual meeting.

We had a great turn out for our December meeting/social with over 80 homeowners attending.
Our scheduled board meetings/homeowner meetings are:

All meetings are held in the Oakwood Clubhouse and begin at 4:00 p.m.
Our next second Wednesday social is scheduled for February 10 at 4:00 p.m. at Oakwood’s lounge. Let’s have a great turnout. Sue and Jay Edmondson will be our greeters.
We suggest homeowners walk around the outside of their property on a regular basis to look for missing tiles, water damage, exposed wood, insect nests, termite mud tunnels that go up to the foundation, irrigation leaks, deep stucco cracks, etc.
Report all non-emergency property care requests (PCR) via the villas’ website under the Property Care tab. The site is www.villas37.org. Use the drop box on Carefree Way and complete form if you do not have e-mail.
Please keep your speed down, and obey our stop signs. Carefree and Tranquility seem to have a few speeders.
Thank you, as always, to pet owners for cleaning up after your pets. Pet owners, keep a close eye on your pet when outdoors. We have a coyote who is always looking for a snack!
