Holiday Cheer at the Unit 37 Villas

The spirit of the season was alive and well on Dec. 19 as neighbors from the Unit 37 Villas gathered for a festive social evening at the Alcove Room at Stone & Barrel restaurant. The event, which ran from 4 to 7 p.m., brought together around 40 residents for an evening filled with holiday cheer, delicious food, and plenty of surprises.

The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with twinkling lights and seasonal decorations setting the perfect backdrop for the gathering. Guests were treated to a delightful appetizer buffet featuring a variety of savory bites that catered to all tastes. An open bar ensured everyone could enjoy a drink of their choice, adding to the festive spirit of the evening.

One of the highlights of the event was the generous collection of door prizes, all donated by local businesses, including BlueStar, Stone & Barrel, and the Oakwood Golf Club. Residents were thrilled as their names were drawn throughout the evening, with prizes ranging from gift certificates to unique local items. The prizes added a special touch to the event.

As the sun set and the night drew to a close, neighbors shared laughter, good conversation, and plenty of holiday goodwill. The gathering was not just a chance to enjoy some great food and drink, but also an opportunity to connect with friends and celebrate the season together.

“We will look forward to this event every year,” said one attendee. “It’s a wonderful way to kick off the holidays, meet new neighbors, and celebrate the spirit of the season.”

The Unit 37 Villas Social Gathering was a true testament to the sense of community that defines Sun Lakes. With the support of local businesses and the warmth of its residents, the event was a resounding success and a highlight of the holiday season. Here’s to many more festive gatherings in the future!
