Messianic worship offers a unique journey, bridging Jewish faith and heritage with the revelation of Yeshua (Jesus) as the Messiah. Our gatherings become invitations to witness the unity and love of the Messiah, drawing people closer to His promises and creating a community that transcends cultural and denominational lines.
Our worship gatherings this year have beautifully demonstrated the power of unity, especially in support of Israel. In February we hosted an inspiring evening in Chandler, Ariz., featuring Joshua Aaron and Yeron Cherniack. Joshua, a powerful figure in Messianic worship, shared his journey and connection to Israel. His mother, a native Israeli who came to faith after hearing Elvis Presley’s gospel music, inspired his life of ministry and worship. Today, Joshua and his family live near the Sea of Galilee, and his children Emma and Shuki serve in the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), representing a new generation of faith, devotion, and watchmen on the wall.
In July we hosted SOLU Israel, a worship team from Jerusalem whose music brings Hebrew praise to international audiences. SOLU, originally a young adult ministry for Jewish teens, has grown to create a meaningful connection to ancient language and prayer. A memorable moment was hearing Levi Davis, an active-duty IDF soldier and SOLU band member, share his experiences of going in and out of Gaza, giving us a firsthand look at the realities on the ground.
As we plan our next worship night, we anticipate another powerful time of connection and worship. This event will feature internationally renowned concert pianist Sam Rotman, and promises to be an enriching experience that merges formal artistry with passionate faith. We invite everyone and all ages to come—not just to listen but to actively participate in praising the Messiah who unites us across backgrounds and beliefs. Through this night of worship, we aim to offer a living testimony of Messianic faith’s call to unity, peace, and joy in the Messiah. This event will be a gala-style event: formal, food, and fellowship. The event is on Dec. 5 at 6 p.m. at First Baptist Church Sun Lakes. Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for children 4-13 years old and are available online at sonofdavid.ticketleap.com/samrotman.
