Unity: Long, sweet love

Kay Davis

Unity Church of Sun Lakes is an active, thriving, positive, supportive, loving spiritual community. We follow the teachings of Jesus as well as other Spiritual Masters. Our prayers are affirmative, and we adopt a health minded lifestyle. We invite you to come and share in our Sunday morning celebration at 9:30 a.m. in the Arts and Crafts Room of Sun Lakes Country Club. Rev. Dr. Debbi Brown/Adams is our spiritual leader, and coffee and fellowship follow the service.

Perhaps you might remember the old song, “What the World Needs Now Is Love, Sweet Love.” It was light-hearted and romantic, popular and fun but let’s look at it in a new way. General news coming from all directions; TV, You Tube, radio, Facebook, etc., has many people feeling overwhelmed with the negativity over events and attitudes. We might be angry and resentful or maybe we feel sad and helpless, but whatever it is, we need to remember that we are all one with the One God and are not victims. In fact, we are all called to a higher purpose, the purpose of carrying and sending Light to every area of the world. Physicists tell us our every thought, action and reaction influence every dimension of life on and around our planet. Slowly and surely we can affect race consciousness. Stand firm in Truth and let positive spiritual energy and empowerment flow from you to humanity. You are stronger than you know, and the world needs love from us all.
