Unity Church of Sun Lakes is an active and thriving, positive and uplifting, loving spiritual community. We follow the teachings of Jesus and other spiritual masters, choose a healthy lifestyle and align our thoughts and attitudes with what we believe is the Truth of our being, that God is all powerful and present in every moment, no matter what is happening in the world of form. We have an inspiring spiritual teacher in Rev. Debbi Brown Adams, and we invite you to join us in our Sunday Celebration at 9:30 a.m. in the Arts and Crafts Room of Sun Lakes Country Club. Coffee and Fellowship follow the service.

We were so blessed to have the music of the Ja Ja’s at our service last Sunday. These two ladies write many of their own songs and share their spiritual light in a beautiful way. One song, “Paper and Pen,” reminds us of the many authors who have supported us through our life experiences. We give thanks and honor authors for the good they bring to our lives. One of many time-honored writings is titled “The Golden Key” and was written in 1931 by Emmet Fox who was a minister of Religious Science church at that time. In 1944, Dr. Fox authorized the special Unity edition of his pamphlet which is all of five pages long and holds the golden key to harmony and happiness. It is a very simple message; stop thinking about the difficulty and think about God instead. Simple and easy are sometimes two different things, but by constantly repeating a statement of absolute Truth, such as there is no power but God or God is Love, or God is with me, the difficulty will begin to heal. We honor and appreciate the many authors who open our minds and hearts to Truth principles.

Activities:

Prayer group and World Peace Meditation, Thursday, March 8, at 10:30 a.m. in Room A-3 at Cottonwood Country Club. All are welcome. Anyone who would like to be supported by the prayer team and Rev. Debbi can contact Debbie at 602-309-1818.

Reiki Circle: This group meets on Tuesday mornings at 9:30 a.m. in Room A-2 of Cottonwood Country Club. For more information, call Lois Valleau at 480-883-6699.

Unity Explores: Our March outing will be on March 21 at 2:00 p.m. to attend the Senior Talent Show and follow with dinner (restaurant to be decided). Sign up at church.
