On Tuesday, December 8, a special trip to Western Spirit, Scottsdale’s Museum of the West, is planned. This includes a docent led tour of the special exhibit, “A Salute to the Cowboy Artists of America.” Also on view will be the Lewis and Clark Exhibit. What a wonderful way to connect with our Southwestern heritage.

This event was limited to 25 women and is now sold out so make sure you reserve early for the next fun fundraiser.

It’s holiday time! Join us on December 15 at the Oakwood Clubhouse, 24218 S. Oakwood Blvd., Sun Lakes, as Shalom Hadassah hosts a fun-filled Chanukah Party. The event will start with a special lunch at 11:30 a.m. and will follow with games and prizes. Trivia, word search and anagrams are just a few of the games that will be played, testing everyone’s memory of the Chanukah Story. For lunch reservation send a $16 check payable to Shalom Hadassah, to Ruth Friedman, The Renaissance, 9508 E. Riggs Road, Sun Lakes 85248.

2016 – Wow! On January 19, 2016, after an optional lunch at 11:30 a.m., our meeting starts off with the induction of the new Shalom Hadassah Board. The program continues with our very popular book club discussion of The Nightingale by Kristin Hannah. Follow lunch reservation information above. Come early enough to browse through and purchase our beautiful greeting cards. Remember, profits go toward our charitable work.
