February is another busy month for programs at the Ed Robson Library with something for everyone! Please join us for these special events:

Wednesday, February 3 at 10:30 a.m. – Riding with the Duke: John Wayne in AZ – a fascinating presentation by Greg McNamee on the Duke’s time living and producing films in Arizona. Sponsored by Arizona Humanities and the Friends of the Ed Robson Library.

Tuesday, February 9 at 2:00 p.m. – The Horse Lover: a Cowboy’s Quest to Save the Wild Mustangs – Author H. Alan Day talks about his book and his collaborative work to create a wild horse sanctuary in South Dakota. Books will be available for sale and signing.

Tuesday, February 16 at 1:00 p.m. – Organizing Your Photos Workshop; professional organizer Pam Fitzgibbons will teach you how to organize, select and save those family photos in both digital and hard copy format. Sponsored by the Friends of the Ed Robson Library.

Thursday, February 18 at 2:00 p.m. – Fifty Years of the Art of Fashion at the Phoenix Art Museum; learn how the changing fashions of the last 50 years have been both shaped by and influenced the times.

Tuesday, February 23 at 1:00 p.m. – Author Jana Bommersbach talk: Cattle Kate – Bommersbach discusses the mostly unknown history of Cattle Kate, and her own novel on the historical figure.
