Are you interested in being part of an organization that directly supports America’s Veterans? Membership in the VFW Auxiliary is an excellent way to show your support!
The VFW Auxiliary started with a small group of women who wanted to serve veterans. Today, there are nearly 470,000 members across the country with a common purpose; to improve the lives of veterans, active-duty military and their families. Our programs are designed to bring needed services, information and assistance to these people.
Membership is open to wives, husbands, widows, widowers, fathers, mothers, grandfathers, grandmothers, sons, daughters, grandsons, granddaughters and brothers and sisters of those who served overseas in combat. Proof of service is required to join, usually a DD214. If you need a copy of this document contact National Archives and Record Administration at 1-866-272-6272 or www.archives.gov/veterans/military-services-records.
Our meetings are monthly in the Mirror Room of Sun Lakes Country Club and last about an hour. If you would like more information please contact Auxiliary Senior Vice President Janice Cournoyer at [email protected]
