Desert Navy is an organization based locally here in the Sun Lakes area, although it has several active members from surrounding areas around the county. Its primary goal is to provide help and support to those veterans and others who are in need. To support that, we maintain a warehouse that contains a variety of medical equipment, which can be obtained by just making a phone call, and we will offer our help and support in the best manner possible. A small sampling of what we do have available includes motorized electric scooters, wheelchairs, walkers, crutches, and much more.

Our club meets on the third Wednesday of the month at 10 a.m. in the Friendship Room. This room is located in the main building of Sun Lakes Country Club, which also has a restaurant, library, and other rooms that are available through the local HOA. Our club is open to all veterans of all branches of the service, and as a club, we also stay in contact with other clubs that are dedicated to helping veterans and others in need. When available, as a part of our meetings, we invite guest speakers who specialize in benefits and other topics that are of interest to us all. Those with an interest and guests are always welcome. We meet monthly from October through April of each year. Come check us out.
