Wet and Wild Water Aerobics news

Marti Scott

In addition to standard benefits of any exercise, the water supports the body and reduces the risk of muscle or joint injury. There is also less stress on the joints when stretching so you will get greater range of motion. Water exercise can also prevent over heating since the water continuously cools the body. The main reason to do water exercise is it is fun. Meet new people, laugh and gain health for your body. We meet on Monday, Wednesday and Friday at the Cottonwood Pool and Tuesday and Thursday at the Oakwood pool. Friday is deep water workout day. All classes start at 10:00 a.m. and last an hour. Come prepared to work at your own pace; I have extra weights and noodles for new people. Men are invited. The cost is $3 per class or $25 for a 10 class punch card.
