Crystal Cards September Workshop
Crystal Cards (CC) takes donated greeting cards and rejuvenates them into brand-new cards to sell for $1 at our local sales. Volunteers sort, cut, glue, decorate, and label each and every card then host sales several times monthly.
All of this is done to raise funds for My Sister’s Place (MSP), a local domestic violence center. The funds donated are used for items that MSP does not receive funding for. CC has provided over $123,000 since beginning this project. Money donated has been used for special activities for the children (going to Dairy Queen or bowling) and for replacement of legal documents needed by the parent (passports, licenses, etc.) and also for items for the center, such as an additional washer/dryer.
So, when you need to send someone a greeting card, think of CC and know that when you purchase a card at one of our sales, you’re helping MSP in a big way. CC has a very large inventory of holiday cards, so please come and check it out!
