Sun Lakes Community Theatre is pleased to announce that we are sponsoring a brand-new entertainment opportunity! The evening will include a buffet dinner and a variety of entertaining acts, along with Cornbread and Beans, a short, one-act play directed by Kate King-Turner. It will all be happening Jan. 16 and 17, 2024, in the Arizona Room (Sunset Grill) at Sun Lakes Country Club. The cost is $25 and includes dinner and the show!

We are looking for up to 12 entertaining acts. Participants can be anyone living in or related to a resident of Sun Lakes. All types of entertainment (except electric bands) are encouraged to audition. If you have ever thought you could be on stage, this is the time to give it a try. Auditions are being held on either of two days for your convenience:

• Tuesday, Dec. 5, from 10 a.m. until noon, or

• Wednesday, Dec. 6, from 3 to 5 p.m.

Auditions for the three roles in the short, one-act play are on Dec. 5 from 1 to 3 p.m. and are only open to Sun Lakes Community Theatre members.
