Rookie Manager Randy Rothenbuehler got his Sun Lakes Softball managerial career off to a great start by leading his Wolfe & Associates team to a 13-5 record and the Lakes Division Winter League Senior Softball title. The Farmers Insurance squad, sponsored by the Frank Margiotta Agency and managed by Gary Hillabolt, also finished 13-5, but lost a tie-breaker to the Wolves.
The Top Ten hitters in the Lakes Division were Bill Stanick (.705), Gary Hillabolt (.698), John Siegla (.673), Hal Kime (.662), Rick Ebel (.655), Hoot Gibson (.641), Bill Gaston (.639), TJ Tjernlund (.636), Jim Dunn (.625) and Jeff Jay (.617).
