Women’s Association of Sun Lakes

The purpose of the Women’s Association of Sun Lakes is to raise funds in support of those who make the lives of our seniors safer and more comfortable and provide information, with an emphasis on serving all of our Sun Lakes communities.

Weekly Meetings: Mondays from 9 to 11 a.m. at Sun Lakes Country Club (25601 E. Sun Lakes Blvd N, Sun Lakes) in the Arts and Crafts Room

January Speaker of the Month: Friday, Jan. 6, at Cottonwood Country Club (25630 S. Brentwood Drive, Sun Lakes) in the Computer Learning Center, Room 1, from 10 to 11 a.m. The speaker will be Robert W. Truman, president, New Adventures in Learning – Where Curiosity Thrives. Topics include: 1) What Is New Adventures, 2) Benefits of Membership, and 3) Sample a Class Week. (New Adventures In Learning is located at the Chandler-Gilbert Community College’s Sun Lakes Center, 25105 S. Alma School Road in Sun Lakes.)

Monthly Board Meeting: Monday, Jan. 16, from 9 to 11 a.m. at Sun Lakes Country Club (25601 E. Sun Lakes Blvd N, Sun Lakes) in the Arts and Crafts Room

January Meet and Greet: Monday, Jan. 23, in the Sheriff’s Posse building, 9531 E. Riggs Road (across from Renaissance), Sun Lakes, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Please join us to learn about our Sun Lakes communities, available resources, and opportunities to get involved. Refreshments will be served.

Recycled Treasures: We accept small household items that can easily be moved by two people. Unfortunately, we can no longer accept large furniture or heavy items. Please contact us to make arrangements to drop off your items.
