Sun Lakes Women’s Connection is preparing to resume their events on Nov. 10 at 10 a.m. in the Oakwood ballroom. After a spring gathering of the planning team to say farewell to two of their members, they are seeking new volunteers for the upcoming season. The first gathering in November will be a real western-themed program with a speaker from Texas and a country line dancing demo, along with fiddle and western vocals, too. Women’s Connection is a faith-based, non-denominational organization that has been meeting in the Sun Lakes area since 1980 and is affiliated with Stonecroft. All Valley women are invited to attend.
