Ed Dean

While on vacation, Paulette Schaier and I, Ed Dean, went to Bend, Oregon to visit her great grandchildren; five month old twins, a boy and a girl. It was then on to Lake Tahoe and Reno, Nevada for fun and gaming. The usual happened; Paulette won and Ed lost.

On our return trip home we met Senator Ted Cruz and his manager Bruce and wife at the Reno Airport. He was on his way to Phoenix and then to Houston, Texas. While waiting for our flight, we discussed some politics and his aspiration of possibly becoming the next President of the United States. We can’t begin to tell you how pleasant, personable and focused he was. He offered to have his picture taken with Paulette and me and then gave a signed copy (booklet) of the Constitution of the United States.

I have to tell you that if you are a Republican and haven’t yet decided on who to vote for, Mr. Cruz is worthy of your consideration. It was a wonderful experience to have a lengthy personal conversation with the next possible President of the United  States of America.
