Annual P.E.O. coffee features historic quilts

Sue Sossaman will talk about historic quilts at the annual P.E.O. Coffee at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 4 in the Navajo Room of Sun Lakes Country Club.

Mrs. Sossaman is a native Arizonan from an east valley pioneer family, she will show and give the history of several family quilts and an insight into early ranch life in the Valley.

P.E.O. is a philanthropic, educational organization where women celebrate the advancement of women, educate women through scholarships, grants, awards and loans and motivate women to achieve their highest aspirations. Mrs. Sossaman is a member of Chandler P.E.O. Chapter AF.

P.E.O. members, guests, visiting P.E.O. quilters and anyone who would enjoy this glimpse into our past are urged to attend. Coffee, fruit and pastries will be served by P.E.O. Group B and C during the meet and greet time. The cost is $2 per person and reservations are not necessary.
