The Sun Lakes VFW Post 8053 was founded in Sun Lakes, Arizona, in December of 1975 and is named after its charter member Dr. Russell W. Bercier (deceased). Since inception, VFW Post 8053 and its auxiliary have been instrumental in donating more than $35,000 each year and contributing thousands of hours of volunteer service to various military, veteran and civic organizations. This accomplishment would not be possible were it not for the support of the Sun Lakes community though your generous donations, Bingo attendance and participation in our fund drives.
