The Friends of Israel Committee of Sun Lakes Jewish Congregation will hold a Celebrate Israel program on September 25 from 1:00-3:00 p.m. at the Sun Lakes Chapel Center, 9240 E. Sun Lakes Blvd. North, and is open the entire community.

A congregational tour to Israel took place in March 2016. This program will highlight the experiences of the travelers, through photo images and their expression of the impact of the trip on them. “What Israel means to me” will be the focus of discussion of the tour participants, the attendees and the Friend of Israel Committee. Our Cantor, Rhonda Polesky, will sing and teach Israeli songs to all that attend. Bety Dar, the tour director, will preview the next tour to Israel in the spring of 2017.
