With the winter visitors coming back into Sun Lakes, it also reminds us of Arizona Big Train Operators’ annual Christmas Open Houses. As Rich Hull strolls along his Rooster Creek Railroad, many memories surely come into his head. Rich has been a very active member of the COH’s for about 15 years. This year’s opening is the last run for Rich and Sharon’s Rooster Creek Railroad, but we still will have two backyard railroads open in Sun Lakes, Dave Kitchen and Gary Bang; plus 11 more throughout the Valley. It’s a great time for all of you grandparents to bring the grandchildren to see the active, running railroads created by these families for all to see. Place these dates and times on your calendars for this year’s show: December 10, 11, 17 and 18 from 5:30-8:30 p.m. each evening.
