The Cottonwood Lady Niners are a fun group of golfers who play nine holes every Thursday afternoon beginning Nov. 7 at 1 p.m. We gather at 12:30 p.m. for a short meeting led by President Minna Rasmussen. We hope you will visit our table in the San Tan Ballroom on Community Day, Saturday, Oct. 5. You will find information, material for membership, talk with a Niner, and then, hopefully, you will join our group of Lady Niners. All levels of play are welcome. We look forward to welcoming you and seeing the return of our snowbird members as well.
Fifteen Cottonwood Lady Niners “beat the heat” and journeyed north to a much cooler Mund’s Park for the Pinewood Country Club nine hole tournament, which was held on July 17. Several members were on winning teams, some won gorgeous baskets of goodies, and others won prizes. A great time was had by all, as we stayed together in a huge VRBO home with our own snacks, food and drink, and games.
