September was a wonderful start to a new school year. Many enthusiastic and very nice people came to learn line dancing at SunBird in the Ballroom on Labor Day. They joined the full-time current dancers who were so anxious to get back on the floor! Things would not have gone so smoothly had it not been for Holly, Susan, Duane and Dan. Their help was and is greatly appreciated. I would not have been able to do it all myself. Yes, I am getting older, but the classes are getting larger. Now we are waiting for our returning snowbird dancers.

Wouldn’t you like to join us? You need to register for the Ultra Basic Class on Mondays at noon in the SunBird Ballroom for $2 before October 15 by calling 480-802-0201 after 10:00 a.m. before the Monday you will be attending. Because we will be working on dances for our December line dance for Judee’s students, the pace would be too fast for brand new starting dancers after that date.

If you are unable to register by October 15, you may register anytime for Ultra Basics restarting on Monday, January 9 at noon for $2 in the SunBird Ballroom by calling 480-802-0201 after 10:00 a.m. We dance through June.

Line dancing is the best way to exercise your mind and body. No partner is needed but we do have couples that have chosen this form of dance to enjoy together. Dancing to music you will recognize and love is a great escape from this crazy world! God bless  line dancing!
