New tennis pro at IronOaks

Kwong Young has been hired as the new Tennis Pro at IronOaks Fitness and Racquet Club. Kwong is from Binghamton, New York. He has been teaching tennis in Arizona since 1987 and has a reputation as someone who takes great care in getting his students to their next level of play. He has coached at John Gardiner Tennis Ranch, Phoenix Jewish Community Center and continues to teach at Kiwanis Park on the days that he is not at IronOaks.

At IronOaks Racquet Club he has already had a huge impact. His men’s and women’s clinics were a huge success in April. From May through September, he has introduced cardio tennis classes on Monday and Friday mornings, and Sunday evenings. He will also be instructing “stroke of the week” classes throughout the summer months. Pam Barker, Director of Fitness and Health Services at IronOaks, says, “Kwong is a great fit for our active adult community. Our tennis members love the clinics and classes that he has introduced. We look forward to a terrific season.”
