Don’t look now, but another Arizona summer is just around the corner. Our Canadian friends have gone, and the remaining winter golfers are slipping away to cooler climes. We wish them all a safe trip and look forward to the late fall when they return for the 2017-2018 golf season. And, speaking of the next golf season, when the golfers return, they will find a renovated Sonoran golf course. Work begins on the Sonoran May 8 and will continue into late October. While the Sonoran is closed, the Niners will share the two remaining Oakwood courses with the Men’s Oakwood Golf Association. The summer schedule will be posted on our website, but there may be changes, so please review the schedule weekly for updated information.

The 50/50 raffle, under the able direction of Treasurer Lloyd Schaeffer and John Gaudioso, has been doing well. Since its inception, the winners Joe Lombardo (twice) and Lloyd Schaeffer, have finished the round richer than when they showed up. Thanks to all the guys who handed over those bills.
