To keep up with the rotation of the sun we enjoyed an extra Monday this month; happens every 823 years, five Mondays and not the usual four. Leap year also contributed to this unusual happening.
2/09. The President’s Cup participants were geared to play their best and obtain a winning score. The leader board was positioned for all to view. As reported, Denese Devereau was the winner.
2/16 and 23. The winners of the two week eclectic games are as follows: Flight 1: Paddy Newton, Rachael Rainville and Pat Tjosvold; Flight 2: Liz Kirkpatrick, Jan Stuckey and Joan Irwin; Flight 3: Nancy Gehlbach, Susan Lamb and Nelda Machutas.
We have enjoyed above normal temperatures this month breaking all-time records, the close to 90 degree temperatures were welcomed. We are expecting rain and cooler weather next month so be prepared. Talk to you again. Congratulations to Barb Smith for her hole-in-one on No. 3.
