The Sun Lakes Roadrunners rally to Benson, Arizona, was very successful. There is so much to do in that area. Members took advantage of that by visiting nearby towns, such as Bisbee, Charleston, Gleeson, Saint David, Sierra Vista, Tombstone and a few others. People toured mines, Pima Air Museum, Fort Huachuca, Gammons Gulch, Kartchner Caverns State Park and the Chiricahua National Monument. At the end of each day, everyone gathered together for Happy Hour where they shared wonderful food and great stories of that day’s adventures.

At the end of March, the Road Runners visited Lake Havasu where there were more great adventures to share.

In April, the club will be holding the annual Spring Fling picnic at Sisk Park. This is always a fun event with great food and friendship. At the end of the month, there is another exciting rally planned to the Lake Powell area.

Come join us at our monthly meetings to learn all about this organization and the activities that are planned. The club meets monthly, October through May, on the second Tuesday of the month. We meet in the Navajo Room of the Sun Lakes Country Club at 6:30 p.m. Our next meeting will be Tuesday, April 11, 2017. If you own an RV, we would love to see you there.
