Illustrating Literature

Combine your love of art and reading by creating an original drawing on pages from a classic novel in the style of artist Stephanie Peters’ book page drawings. The workshop will combine a book (club) discussion and a hands-on experience of creating a charcoal drawing. The drawing will be a finished work-of-art produced by reusing old beat up books and charcoal on hardboard. Participants will learn how to recycle used books and create a ready-to-frame work of art that they can take home.
