Now that the holiday season is behind us, we all have the opportunity to make a fresh start as we establish new goals for the New Year. The Short Line Model Railroad Club always welcomes new members that may be interested in joining our club. We’re looking forward for a time of new adventures, and having a little fun as we continue in a new direction adding new ideas that keep our club members active and current with the latest technology made available for today’s hobbyist.

We have initiated some changes for the New Year that we feel will be beneficial for all our members, and may well be of interest to those that would like to join us. Our meetings still are scheduled for the second Saturday of the month, but the times have been moved up to 9:00 a.m. Meetings typically last approximately two hours, and on occasion this may include a workshop pertaining to a variety of topics. The meeting location has been moved to the Lakeview Room on the first floor of the SunBird Community Center. This provides some major advantages regarding access and space availability. We would enjoy seeing you there on January 12 as we plan out the upcoming events for the year.
