Mother’s Day at the Sunset Grill
Date: Sunday, May 10
Time: 7:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.
Location: Sunset Grill – Arizona Room
The Sunset Grill will be open during normal hours on Mother’s Day. This year, instead of a preselected buffet, we are offering a special menu for our guests in addition to our regular menu. No tickets need to be purchased.
For Mother’s Day, our chef is preparing four separate scratch-made frittatas sure to please everybody’s taste. Each order will be served with your choice of toast as well as crisp golden hash browns or a fresh yogurt parfait. The frittatas available are: The Mediterranean – spinach, artichoke and feta cheese; The Italian – Italian sausage, roasted red peppers, blended mozzarella and parmesan cheese; The Northwestern – Smoked salmon, green onion and cream cheese; and The Farmer’s – sausage, ham, onion, mushroom and cheddar cheese.
Also, enjoy $4 coffee liquor drinks and $3 mimosas and Bloody Marys. This is mom’s special day! We look forward to spending it with you.
UpTown Art Painting Class and Happy Hour

Location: Navajo Room at Sun Lakes Country Club
Cost: $23 per person
Join us for an afternoon of painting and drinks with your friends! UpTown Art brings painting to you with an all-inclusive class that will allow you to leave with your very own masterpiece. The cost of the event includes all the materials you will need, personalized instruction and a complimentary glass of wine. Follow along as an UpTown Artist leads the entire class through painting the selected event picture.
Not an artist? That’s okay! The instructors are there to make it easy for you to follow along and will help individuals as needed.
A cash bar will be available for additional alcoholic beverages. Bring your best friend and buy a bottle of wine to share, or purchase drinks by the glass.
Advance tickets are necessary. Purchase yours today at the Administrative Services desk at Sun Lakes Country Club.
Memorial Day

Team Trivia is a live hosted trivia game. Play as a solo player or bring your friends to lend a helping hand or mind. Compete against other teams for prizes! Our categories include everything from history, TV, sports, geography, music and just about anything else you can think of. So if you want to show your competition how smart you are this is your chance! And maybe, just maybe, you’ll win a prize for playing.
There is no cost or obligation to play. All materials will be provided free of charge. Just bring yourself and a desire to have some fun! There will be a cash bar available and a chance to win prizes and enter to win the 50/50 raffle!
