Unity Church of Sun Lakes is a positive and loving community of souls who follow the teachings of Jesus as well as the wise teachings of other spiritual masters. We choose to live a healthy lifestyle filled with affirmative prayer, meditation, love and gratitude. Rev. Debbi Brown Adams leads us in amazing and beautiful affirmative prayer as well as current and timely lessons. Join us for Sunday Celebration at 9:30 a.m. in the Arts and Crafts Room at Sun Lakes Country Club. Coffee and fellowship follow the service.

There are so many ways to pray. Sitting in the Silence, contemplating the Creator of life, performing a sacred ritual, chanting, prayers of supplication are all very different ways to pray. In Unity, we teach and use affirmative prayer, and it has a form to lead us. We start with our recognition of God as all wisdom, all power and present everywhere. We recognize the many qualities of God. Next, we acknowledge the presence of God in us and in all people and the creative power of God which works through us to give us happy, healthy, fulfilled and balanced lives. We know that our lives manifest into physical form as a result of our thoughts, emotions and beliefs, so we affirm and declare that that which we desire is already done. We give thanks to Divine Mind that our prayers are answered and release them out into the cosmos and know that it is done. And so it is!

November activities are as follows:

World Peace Meditation and Prayer Group: November 9 at 10:30 a.m. at Cottonwood Country Club in Room A-3. This is an open group. Anyone who would like to be supported by the prayer team and Rev. Debbi can contact Debbi at 602-309-1818.

Unity Explores: Kay Wilke will present a talk on her travels to third world countries. Time and date TBA.
