Come watch the fun at the annual Norris Invitational Tournament (NIT) beginning on March 7 at 8:00 a.m. This annual pickleball tournament is held at the Cottonwood pickleball courts in Sun Lakes. And maybe, just maybe, your favorite pickleball player might be participating. It’s free to watch and cheer! You probably already know that pickleball is exciting and high energy and it’s the fastest-growing sport in America. Been curious about pickleball? Then come watch the tournament and see what all the hype is about.
This is a double elimination event with both mixed doubles and doubles and encompasses five rating categories for various skill levels. It’s a huge event and nearly 100 entries are expected this year. There will be lots of pickleball play and several days to see it all since it goes from March 7-10, with a rain-day scheduled on March 11.
