On April 18, the Oakwood Lady Niners Golf Association announced the winning players in three different areas for 2017:
The State Medallion Club winner for Low Gross score was Pat Stead, while Linda Liberti won for Low Net.
Our Club Championship winners were also announced: Overall Club Championship winner was Joyce Parker, and winning in Flight #1 was Cora Levensky, Flight #2 was Phyllis Madison and Sheila Bossio in Flight #3. The Jo Williams Net Championship was led by Linda Liberti, followed by Sandy Kreidit in Flight #1, Flight #2 winner was Judy Hedding and Edna Joss in Flight #3.
In addition, Tuni O’Rourke announced the names of winners in “chip ins” and birdies categories. There was a total of 32 ladies who had “chip ins” between November and April 4. During the timeframe January through April 4, there were 12 birdies (with one person recording two separate!).
