The standard arrival time for a golf game is generally held to be 15 minutes prior to your tee time. We currently have a shotgun start at 7:00 a.m., so we would expect our players to arrive at about 6:45 a.m. This provides enough time to check in, get in a short practice period and resolve any hole changes caused by late cancellations, “no shows” or unscheduled golfers asking to be accommodated for the day’s play. Arriving two or three minutes prior to the shotgun time and causing a late start is inconsiderate of your fellow golfers. Ideally, all golfers should be at their carts just prior to 7:00 a.m. and ready to leave as the starter releases the group. Most of the members understand this and respect the etiquette involved. If you find that you cannot be ready to leave the lot at 7:00 a.m. or require additional time to prepare for the round, consider arriving earlier. And, if there is a last-minute emergency and you are not able to play, contact the pro shop desk and notify the staff.
