On August 21 we had our mid-month dinner at RigaTony’s; 18 members in attendance enjoyed the companionship and of course the fine meal of choice.

The Men’s Club started on September 2 with their new year’s meetings with a well-received presentation by Esther Spear on genealogy. In addition to describing her experiences, she had handouts that had U.S. and foreign sources and origins of names. Both the Sisterhood and Hadassah members were invited to attend.

Due to proximity to High Holidays, there are some changes to club’s normal activities:

The mid-month dinner in September will be cancelled (closeness to Rosh Hashanah)

There will be no Men’s Club meeting in October (closeness to Yom Kippur)

With the New Year coming, we wish happiness to our members and Sun Lakes Jewish Congregation.
