The Sun Lakes Republican Club will feature “Election Year Insights” with Mike Broomhead, KTAR 92.3 FM Morning Radio Host, at its monthly meeting Tuesday, April 14, at 6:30 p.m. in the Arizona Room of the Sun Lakes Country Club, 25601 S. Sun Lakes Blvd., Sun Lakes, AZ 85248. The public is invited! Please bring your neighbors and friends!
Mike Broomhead recently moved to KTAR-FM, after hosting with KFYI since 2005. He uses his business and life experience to address the issues that Arizona citizens face today. Rooted in fiscal and social conservatism, Mike leaves no doubt where he stands on any issue. He fights for the freedoms of Americans and brings the hottest issues of the day to his listeners. His presentation will focus on The Inside Scoop of the Day, in view of America’s founding principles during this Presidential election year.
Some Americans have never learned about our unique American Heritage and the incredible “Freedom Formula” that our Founders gave their lives to establish. This has resulted in some of our Founders’ most unique contributions for a free and prosperous society becoming lost or misunderstood. Broomhead will highlight some of the unique liberties enshrined in our American Exceptionalism that are at risk, if voters forget them in this important election year.
Broomhead initially made a name for himself speaking at the largest pro-troop rallies in the country. He was called upon to debate on both television and radio and is now a highly-requested speaker around the country. Mike also had the privilege of being the master of ceremonies for two presidential visits in 2004, as well as being involved in the 2016 elections.
Mike is a strong believer in giving back to the community and volunteers his time for several organizations, including the Best Buddies program at Marcos de Niza High School; “Project We Remember” that supports military families; “Packages From Home” that is dedicated to U.S. servicemen and women overseas; and Patriot Day Celebration that benefits Fighter Country Foundation.
Mike is the president of Broomhead Electric, LLC, and still maintains his contractor’s license in Arizona.
Prior to his radio career, Mike was a winning bull rider and rodeo announcer! He is the proud father of two daughters and three amazing grandkids.
Our Arizona State Representative Jeff Weninger will provide a legislative update on the current AZ session. For more information, visit our website, www.slgop.org, or contact Mike Tennant at 480-802-0178.
