The 2023 annual P.E.O. Coffee will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 8, at Sun Lakes United Methodist Church. P.E.O is a Philanthropic Educational Organization whose mission is to celebrate the advancement of women; educate women through scholarships, grants, awards, loans, and stewardship of Cottey College; and motivate women to achieve their highest aspirations.
The speaker for this year’s Coffee is Autumn Moss. Autumn’s story is not the kind of success story you are used to hearing. And, to be honest, that is just the way she likes it. Sentenced to six and a half years at the Arizona Department of Corrections, Autumn had the option to take one of two roads: live in misery of her decisions and situation, or find a better way forward. Choosing her second option is why her story is worth hearing. Autumn is the Global Marketing & Solutions Manager for SAP, a multinational business software company. Originally from San Diego, she currently resides in Mesa, Ariz., with her fiancé Jamell and their four dogs.
Autumn’s story is one of inspiration and perseverance. Please join us to hear Autumn’s story and enjoy warm fellowship. The Coffee will begin at 10 a.m. in Lindsay Hall at Sun Lakes United Methodist Church located at 9248 E. Riggs Road in Sun Lakes. The cost is $5, payable at the door, and no reservations are needed. P.E.O. members, guests, and other interested persons are invited to attend. For more information, contact Cindy Thomas at 316-210-4154.
