Get ready to make a splash at the Spring Break Beach Dance Party on April 20! This is open to the public, so throw on your flip-flops, grab some friends, and join in the fun with a local favorite, the Thaddeus Rose Band, in the San Tan Ballroom at the Cottonwood Country Club, 25630 S. Brentwood Drive in Sun Lakes. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., and the show starts at 7 p.m. A limited menu and cash bar are available. Tickets are $10 at the door.
If you missed the last Comedy Show, you really missed a good time! May 4 will be the last Comedy Show this season, so mark your calendars for a fun night out. Get ready for some good old-fashioned belly laughs with three comedians, including headliner Ritch Shydner, a stand-up comedian, comic writer, and actor. Shydner played Al Bundy’s co-worker and friend Luke Ventura on Married with Children and made guest appearances on other TV shows, such as Designing Women and Roseanne. His film roles include Beverly Hills Cop II and Roxanne. Shydner was also a staff writer on such sitcoms as Roseanne, The Jeff Foxworthy Show, and Titus. This show is open to the public in the San Tan Ballroom at the Cottonwood Country Club, 25630 S. Brentwood Drive in Sun Lakes. Save the date! The Horse Races are back! Join us on May 20 in the San Tan Ballroom in Cottonwood and let the cheering begin!
