We have some good things happening in recent days with the Sun Lakes Apple Club.
In January we became registered as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, Tax ID 92-2120049. This enables us to accept tax-deductible donations, permitting us to remain a no-fee club for our members. Please see the website, sunlakesappleclub.com, for more on this and how to contribute.
We have upgraded our website, adding easy links to our class schedules, blogs, preferred partners, and communication links. Additional improvements are in process.
We have recently added a program manager, treasurer, and new instructors to our organization. We are anxious to gain additional instructors, a secretary, someone to help with fundraising, and a publicity manager. If you or anyone you know might be interested in any of these, please contact Gary B. at [email protected].
When Phoenix Room classes resume in October at the Computer Learning Center in Cottonwood, we will conduct both early afternoon classes and evening classes so that members with time conflicts have some flexibility. In addition, we will resume our every Friday morning one-on-one classes for individual help.
June through September classes are held at the Apple Store at the Chandler Fashion Center. Please see the website for instructions on registration.
Our club’s mission is to provide a forum that is educational, supportive, and fun—where we can all learn to get the most from our Apple products, regardless of our knowledge level. We are a no-fee club, and our objective is to remain so.
