On April 16 the members of PVLGA invited guests to join them in a fun Barbie-themed Member/Guest Tournament. The only requirement was to wear some pink and have a handicap. Everyone complied, and then some. Pink was everywhere, from the donut holes to the decorations to the tee prizes and the cupcakes! Assistant Pro at PV, Nate Halligan, willingly agreed to be “Just Ken” for some added fun and pictures. We all agree he did a fabulous job smiling for the camera in over 60 pictures with the participants. Thanks, Nate! Also, thanks to the Pro Shop and the committee (Marcia Smith, Roz Pederson, Laura Carothers, Linda Grendahl, Florence Wright, Susan Lamb, and Lori Snodgrass) for your hard work.
The event was a two-person scramble with four flights. Over 50% of the field won prize money. Congratulations to all the winners, and thank you to everyone who made the event a huge success!
