During the summer heat, some Sun Lakes Jeep Owners have been weekend Jeeping in the local mountains. One of the recent trail rides was on the Pinto to Pinal Trail between Superior and Globe, Ariz. This trail had a variety of scenic and topographical features from start to finish from low water wash areas between river banks to hair-raising elevated mountainside paths with breathtaking views. If you live in Sun Lakes and are a Jeep Owner with interest in our group, please email sunlakesjeeps@hotmail.com. We have over 30 Jeeps and 45 Jeep owners in our group. The Jeeps range from completely stock to slightly modified. Once the fall weather arrives, we will be doing three or more trail rides each month. Nothing extreme and you are welcome to join even if you are not interested in hitting the trails.
