Elections 2027: As per our Constitution and By Laws, a Board Member holds his office for two consecutive years. Those Members may then run for an additional two year term if they choose. Nominations for the 2027 Board of Officers will open on Oct. 2 and close on Dec. 15. The ballots will be counted and the membership will be notified. The new Board Members will take their offices on Jan. 1, 2027. Members of the Niners in good standing may stand for a Board Office and any member may nominate another member in good standing to stand for a Board Office. Volunteers are essential to the good operation of the league.

Board Officers and Game Managers are the members who make the League run smoothly. We are always looking for new Game Managers, so think about stepping up to help out.

Board Activity: This is a very busy time of the year for Board Members as they begin work on the reports for 2026, review our financials, and prepare preliminary budgets and schedules for the new year. The final reports will be presented to the membership at the annual meeting scheduled for March 3, 2027.

The Splash newspaper has been hosting the Niners Monthly Reports for more than 25 years. I have been writing those reports nearly that long. Currently we have the monthly report and two to three “specials” each year. The Splash staff is always available to assist. So, at this time I would like to offer a special “Tip O’ the Old Golf Cap” to my Special Editor, Lynbeth Street. She is patient with my mistakes and generous with advice. Thank you, Lynbeth.
